Kei Kita

Kei has been in a relationship with Chiyomi for 10 years, and is aware that Chiyomi is actually in love with someone else. She works as a clerk at the marriage registration office, and has voiced the desire to marry Chiyomi when same-sex couple marriage would be recognized by the law. Though she believes she's hidden her sexual orientation well, Kei's parents have deduced long ago that she is a lesbian, and don't treat her any differently after she comes out to them.
