Hatsue Kita

Hatsue is Kei's mother. While her daughter thought she was hiding her sexual orientation and relationship with Chiyomi, Hatsue and her husband had figured it out long ago after seeing the two interact. During a heart-to-heart with Kei, she admits to disliking Chiyomi not because she is a lesbian, but because Chiyomi didn't have the courage to meet her girlfriend's parents properly. After Kei's coming out, she treats her with the same amount of love as before.
