Nishi Tatsuyoshi is a Japanese policeman stationed in Hong Kong.

Forced into an uneasy alliance with the chiropteran hunting organisation Red Shield, Nishi works with a mysterious cellist named Hagi as they try to uncover the source of the murders and bring down the Wong family, who sell a miracle drug that they claim will give users immortality.
