Self-proclaimed Queen of the sea and 3rd ranked hunter in the Association, Linryu is unmatched in her aquatic prowess. She initially requests Yuri and the crew to assist her with the transportation of a massive ocean chimera. However when this chimera ends up being more than it appears to be, Yuri earns her respect as the two team up to take down the foe. Through this she becomes a powerful ally and friend of Yuri's.
