Cosmo is the leader of COSMIC, the NewTube streamer group he started with his friends Subaru and Ginga. Of the trio, he has the strongest moral compass and sense of responsibility, and he values his friends and the group they created together. As such, he's frequently very stressed out by the other members' irresponsible actions and their consequences. He earnestly tries to do things right and to not cause harm, and tries to avoid getting involved in any kind of drama. He finds the obsession of gachikois to be very uncomfortable.
Cosmo's unusual name is the reason for COSMIC's space theme. It uses the kanji 宇宙, meaning universe, read as "Cosumo" instead of the usual "uchuu" to resemble the English word "Cosmo." His streamer name is simply his real name, spelled phonetically in katakana instead of the original kanji.
Cosmo sports an asymmetrical haircut, dyed bright purple with a white streak. He's the only COSMIC member to dye his hair. His image color is purple. He's significantly shorter than the other COSMIC members, and he's considered cute by fans due to both his height and personality.
Cosmo likes games in general. As a high schooler, before starting COSMIC, he made let's play-style videos on "NiyoNiyo Douga." He continues to make similar videos along with COSMIC's normal content. Since his love of games led to him being considered a geek or an otaku, he's sensitive to negative comments made towards these groups of people.
