The second male lead. He receives the title of Duke Louis Luke after killing Estelle. He was Estelle's best friend in her first life and also the one that killed her. Estelle despises him and wants to enact revenge against him. At the beginning of the story, Khalid is portrayed as a villainous character who is motivated by his own greed and ambition. However, he also saves Estella (as Lucifela) from death, which makes Estelle question his character. As the series continues, it is revealed that Khalid is in love with Estelle.
