Asami was once the daughter of a rich buisiness owner but when the company went bankrupt she was sent to a new school, something she was very pessimistic about but quickly got over. She tends to speak her mind openly and when she puts her mind to it, she is a very hard worker. She is usually fairly level headed, except when it comes to matters of love.

It is hinted that she has a crush on Akira and finds herself depending on him a lot, despite his appearance as a girl.
