Nieno Kurando

Nieno Kurando is a frail and physically weak high school student living in a near-future world where Earth is under alien invasion. Due to the United Nations' mandatory draft, he is forced to undergo military physical examinations, where he scores the lowest possible results, highlighting his lack of athletic ability and combat potential.

Despite his unimpressive physical condition, Kurando's life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Eliza, a short-tempered vampire who crashes into his life during an alien air raid. Selected by both the United Nations Air Force and Eliza herself, Kurando becomes her designated blood source, placing him at the center of an unusual and dangerous relationship.

While timid and often overwhelmed by his circumstances, Kurando serves as a grounded and relatable protagonist, reacting realistically to the absurdity and danger surrounding him. His dynamic with Eliza forms the emotional core of the story, blending lighthearted interactions with the darker backdrop of war and survival.
