A socially awkward high school girl with terrible communication problems and the dream to be "normal". She secretly admired her classmate Takahashi, who somehow got along with everyone.

After learning Takahashi's true identity after she witnesses her swallowing a human whole, Itou becomes friends with her on the thought of: "If even terrifying monsters can blend in with humans "normally," then I thought that if I learned from Takahashi, then so could I."
