Seong-un Ma

Ma Seong-un is a prominent, calculated mastermind in the Hunter world, serving as an agent of the Central Agency for Hunter Affairs' Intelligence Agency and the absolute founder of the clandestine group known as Rogue.

Background & Status

Before stepping into the shadows of tactical intelligence, Ma Seong-un was a revered and incredibly powerful elite S-class Hunter. He earned deep respect within the community and global associations for his combat capabilities. However, a highly traumatic dungeon incident left him visually impaired. Because of his blindness, he wears thick-rimmed glasses and stepped away from front-line active combat, transitioning fully into a strategical and political role within the Central Agency.

The Rogue Initiative

Recognizing that standard laws often fail to stop dangerous, corrupt, or criminal hunters, Seong-un took matters into his own hands by establishing "Rogue". Rogue operates completely off the books as a secret, unauthorized guild explicitly designed to hunt down, apprehend, and permanently contain criminal Hunters who abuse their powers.

Personality

Seong-un is characterized by his profound intelligence, exceptional emotional restraint, and deep moral ambiguity. He is willing to operate in a gray area, using extreme, covert methods to maintain balance and achieve what he perceives as a greater good for human society.
