Azriel Efelua

The charismatic, white-haired Pope (and head of the temple) with mysterious and manipulative motives. He is secretly the mastermind behind the story's central conflict. He engineered the altered oracle/prophecy that stripped the female lead, Ersia (Sia) Fesentera, of her position as future crown princess so that she would be cast out and he could win her for himself. Despite his divine and beautiful appearance, he is far from a pure or traditional hero, having intentionally upended Ersia's life to pull her into his orbit.
