Waka Sugimura

Kaoru's mother. She loves her son but still angers him from time to time. She will often enter his room without knocking, prompting him to yell at her. She will also clean up his room sometimes and tells him off for buying all that “junk” in the mail. It looks like she is a widow. Although she is not a busy as Nana's mother, she is often away at work.
