Ningen Shikkaku

Synopsis

Youzou Ooba has always had trouble understanding other human beings, and from a young age learned to play the role of a clown in order to get by. However, as he grows into adulthood, he finds it increasingly difficult to manage and drowns himself in worldly pleasures in order to cope. As he recounts the tale of his life, and how his ill-fated path seems to be awash in death, destruction, and misery, his story offers insight into the eternal struggle that is existence. Background

Ningen Shikkaku was published in English as No Longer Human by VIZ Media as a 3-in-1 omnibus volume on December 17, 2019. It was also released in Spanish by ECC Ediciones as a 3-in-1 omnibus volume on December 5, 2022.
