Synopsis
Now a first-year university student, Satomi Oka has left his early teenage hobbies and worries behind, stepping into a new, defining period of his life. He works a graveyard shift at a family restaurant, attends classes with friends, and still keeps in touch with his bothersome yakuza acquaintance, Kyouji Narita. But this friendship with Kyouji still feels rather uncertain and ill-defined, and Satomi bounces between wishing to decisively end their relationship and hoping Kyouji might quit the life of crime at his request. As it appears that Satomi's regular customer—a bald, seemingly penniless manga artist with a taste for wine and a passion for cats—has ties to Kyouji, troubles beyond Satomi's reach unravel in the yakuza world.
