Haikyuu!! Bangai-hen: Nobuyuki Kai no Akumu was published in the 2024 #10 issue of Weekly Shounen Jump and was later included in the Haikyuu!! 33.5 booklet, which was distributed at the Haikyuu!! Movie: Gomisuteba no Kessen premiere on February 16, 2024. The one-shot was published as an English simulpub as Haikyuu!! Special One-shot: Nobuyuki Kai's Nightmare through MANGA Plus.
