Birthplace: Ibaraki, Osaka Prefecture, Japan

Ryou Orikasa graduated from Ibaraki University, College of Education, in 2009. In 2011, he graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation. His short films have won awards around the world.
