Meychan is an utaite who has been active since 2011. He released his first solo album, Meychan no Atama no Naka wa Daitai Konna Kanji desu (めいちゃんの頭の中はだいたいこんな感じです), in March 2017. He has been signed to Universal Music since May 2019.

Meychan is also part of the YouTuber group Niku Chomoranma (肉チョモランマ) with fellow utaite Gero, as well as AraNaruMey (あらなるめい) with ARAKI and nqrse.
