Born in Japan in 1981. Hirotoshi Iwasaki is video artist using experimental animation, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with Doctor’s degree in Fine Arts 2019. He received Grand Prix non-narrative short at Holland Animation Film Festival 2015 and his works have been used in campaign for Calvin Klein in 2020. His research theme is about comparing rotoscoping with 20th century avant-garde art movement, and also focuses and explores the disposition of co-presence of rotoscoping.
