Kazuya Masumoto

Masumoto is a graduate student of Yoyogi Animation School Fukuoka. He started his career as an individual episode director for numerous shows and eventually joined studio Gainax in 2006, working on multiple anime titles there.

He left Gainax and cofounded anime studio Trigger in 2011, where he now works as a producer and managing director.
